Refund Policy

RETURNS & REFUNDS
GIVEN THE SENSITIVE NATURE OF BOOKS, AND DIGITAL PRODUCTS ALL SALES ARE FINAL.
ORDER DELIVERED BUT NOT RECEIVED:
If your tracking information states that your package was delivered and you have not received it. You must contact the delivery carrier and address the issue directly with them. We do not hold or accept responsibility for packages that have been stated as delivered by the carrier. We do not issue refunds or credits for packages that the carrier confirms as being delivered.
ORDER CANCELLATIONS
Once an order is placed it cannot be canceled. There are no exceptions.
REFUNDS FOR MISSED DISCOUNT CODES
If you place an order and forget to input the discount code your order will not be eligible to receive a partial (or full ) monetary refund.
ORDER DISCREPANCIES
Any order discrepancies MUST be reported within 24 hours of receiving your order. Your packing slip is your proof of purchase and it must be presented for all discrepancies. Order discrepancies include both missing and damaged items. When reporting a discrepancy you will need to include a picture of the items received, packing slip, and the issue that you wish to have fixed. Please send all emails to [email protected]. If the packing slip is not included in your email correspondence we will issue a store credit for the damaged or missing items. The value of the store credit will be in the amount the item was purchased for. If the issue with your order is found to be the fault of our staff then we will replace the item for you or issue a full refund for the amount that you purchased the item minus shipping fees.
RETURNED ORDERS/ INCORRECT ADDRESS
It is the responsibility of the customer to ensure that the correct shipping address is listed with your order. Each order will be shipped to the address listed unless the customer reaches out to change the address before shipping. Shipping addresses cannot be changed after an order ships out. If your order is returned due to an incorrect address or is abandoned at your PO Box the customer is responsible for paying the shipping cost to resend the order.
LOST/STOLEN ORDERS
I Be Writing is not responsible for items that were lost or stolen in transit. If your item was lost or stolen in transit please contact the shipping carrier directly to file a claim. If you need your tracking information please e-mail us at [email protected]
RETURN TO SENDER
If your item is returned to sender you will be invoiced for the cost of shipping to reship the package. If you don't want to purchase additional shipping to reship your order we will issue you a store credit for the full amount of your order minus the cost of shipping. There are no refunds issued for items that are returned to the sender.
REFUND POLICY ON DIGITAL PRODUCTS
All Digital Products Are Final Sale. E-books are also considered a digital product.

When you purchase your e-book
1. Purchase your e-book using the email where you want to receive your book
2. Receive the download link from Bookfunnel via email
3. Send the story to your preferred e-reader. You can read online, or access your stories in the Bookfunnel app.
