Terms of Service for Path To Independence: Direct Selling For Black Self-Published Authors

Safe Space Declaration This workshop is designed as a safe space exclusively for Black self-published authors. To foster a community where our specific experiences and challenges can be shared and addressed without reservation, attendance is limited to Black individuals. If you are not Black, we respectfully ask that you honor our need for this safe space and not enroll in the workshop.
- Introduction These Terms of Service govern the use of and participation in the "Path To Independence: Direct Selling For Black Self-Published Authors" workshop, provided by Faheemah Salahud-Din Floyd also known as Griot Bae. By registering for this workshop, participants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
- Participation Participants are expected to attend the workshop personally and may not share login details with non-registered individuals. Recording, live streaming, or broadcasting the sessions is strictly prohibited. To maintain honesty and a positive flow of energy, all participants must keep their cameras on throughout the workshop.
- Intellectual Property All materials provided during the workshop, including but not limited to videos, documents, worksheets, and presentations, are the intellectual property of Griot Bae and are provided for personal use only.
- Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) a. Confidentiality: All information shared during the workshop, including discussions, materials, and participant data, is confidential. Participants agree not to disclose, reproduce, or distribute any portion of the workshop materials or discussions to third parties without prior written permission from Griot Bae. b. Permitted Use: Confidential information is provided for the purpose of learning and personal application only. Misuse of confidential information for commercial or competitive purposes is strictly prohibited. c. Duration: The obligation of confidentiality shall continue indefinitely after the conclusion of the workshop until such information becomes publicly known through no fault of the participant.
- Payment The fee for the workshop is payable in advance. Due to the nature of the workshop being live and capacity-limited, all sales are final. No refunds or cancellations will be processed.
- Limitation of Liability Griot Bae will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or related to participation in the workshop.
- Dispute Resolution Any disputes arising under these terms will be handled amicably through negotiation; if resolution cannot be reached, disputes will be settled through arbitration in the jurisdiction of Kern County, California.
- Amendments These Terms of Service may be amended from time to time to reflect changes to the law or changes to our workshop. Participants will be notified of any amendments.
